A passionate partnership
Rosing’s first male ambassador is the badminton player, world-champion Viktor Axelsen. The partnership is built on mutual respect and a shared ambition to always reach for more and better – in jewellery and the game of badminton. Viktor Axelsen’s confidence and strength on the court is matched by his excellence and passion for his choice of sports – the same characteristics needed when making jewellery. Precious gold and noble diamonds are imbued with the elegance the badminton player epitomises. In keeping with the times, men are re-discovering the joy of wearing fine jewellery. In the campaign images shot by photographer Oliver Knauer, Viktor Axelsen is seen wearing Rosing’s bestselling gentlemen’s jewellery.
Badminton meets jewellery
When watching Viktor Axelsen on a court, he is characterised by confidence, adding strength and masculinity to the game. He, in turn, was fascinated by the Dog Tag pendant, designed by Kristina Rosing, and so he reached out to her. As she saw many corresponding parallels between the excellence and passion of Axelsen in his choice of sports, and the jewellery she designs, an agreement was reached - and an ambassadorship took form.
With his remarkable talent and exceptional achievements, Viktor Axelsen has etched his name into the sport’s history and people’s hearts. His playing style is a fine blend of power, finesse, and strategic insight. His physicality brings a certain aggression to the game, as he intimidates his opponents with his tall frame, securing his admirable court coverage and position as the world’s best badminton player.
“Viktor’s success has been attributed to his unparalleled work ethic and dedication. With countless hours of practice and a tireless commitment to honing his skills, he has reached the pinnacles of the game, while living out his dream to become the number one ranked player”, says Kristina Rosing, pointing out that those very qualities are alpha and omega when designing and crafting fine jewellery.
In keeping with the times, men are re-discovering the joy of wearing fine jewellery. Kristina Rosing opted for a selection of pieces complementing Viktor Axelsen’s style and streamlined dominance on the court. In the campaign images shot by photographer Oliver Knauer, Viktor Axelsen is seen wearing Rosing’s bestselling gentlemen’s jewellery. “This variety was an obvious one, as the jewellery meticulously complement his playing style”, Kristina Rosing finishes.

Behind the scenes
Viktor Axelsen proudly wears Rosing’s jewellery, and it all began for him, when he discovered the fabulous Rosing's Dog Tag pendant. One festive afternoon, Axelsen was photographed by Oliver Knauer wearing an assortment of Rosing gentlemen’s jewellery styles. A fun game of make-believe badminton opposite the video camera was made for those, who want to get an experience of what it feels like to face-off with Axelsen on court. For love of the game – and jewellery.
