Terms & Conditions

Use of this Website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (TAC). Ragnar Ure og Juveler may revise these TAC from time to time by updating this posting, with the revised TAC taking effects for all users as of the date stated on the posting. Consequently, users should consult the TAC regularly.

Please read these TAC carefully before using the Website. Users expressly acknowledge that they are aware of these TAC and have had access to the same upon entering the Website. Consequently, by using the Website, users signify their assent and agreement to these TAC. If the user does not agree to these TAC, then the user is not authorised to continue consultation and access of the Website.

 

Use of Website Materials

Ragnar Ure og Juveler has created this Website to provide information about its company and products for users personal use. Users may download one computer copy or print one copy of the material on this Website for their own Non-commercial, educational, private or domestic use only, provided that proprietary notices, in particular intellectual property notices such as copyright©, trademark are preserved intact and are not modified, deleted or changed.

Unless otherwise stated, Users should assume that everything they see or read on the Website (such as images, photographs, including any person represented in the photographs, illustrations, icons, texts, video clips, written and other materials) are protected by legislation such as copyright, designs and trademark legislation and under international treaty provisions and national laws worldwide.

In the event of breach of any of these Terms, Users’ permission to use Ragnar Ure og Juveler material will automatically terminate and any copies made of Ragnar Ure og Juveler material must be immediately destroyed.

Any unauthorised use of Ragnar Ure og Juveler material may infringe copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.

 

Customs and Pricing Policy

Prices on the Website are in Euro and include Danish VAT at the applicable rate. For orders placed outside the EU, the Danish VAT of 25% will be deducted during checkout.

All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The Euro price of a product displayed on the Site at the time the order is accepted will be honoured, except in cases of patent and technical errors.

If you are a customer whose credit card is not denominated in Euros, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.

Please be aware that orders placed for a delivery outside of the EU may be charged with a customs fee, which is not included in the shipping expenses from Ragnar Ure og Juveler. please contact your local customs office for more information.

NB: US customers may be asked to provide their social security number or tax id upon receiving the goods.

 

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

You select the products you want to buy and add them to the “bag”. Up until the time the order is made you may change the contents of the bag and you may on an ongoing basis check the contents of the bag and the price of the products.

Please note, that items in your bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Any additional payments for e.g. freight will not be calculated until immediately before you are ready to pay.

Once you are ready to order, you click “go to checkout” where you enter your name, address, email, telephone number, select type of delivery, and enter your payment information. You may change the contents of your basket right up until the time to confirm your purchase.

The purchase is confirmed by clicking the button “Continue to Payment”. Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it. Your order is subsequently approved, cf. below, and confirmation will be sent to you via email.

 

Acceptance of Order

Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Ragnar Ure og Juveler will be completed when we email you to confirm that the goods have been dispatched.

We reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, if the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within the TAC.

We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Website whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

 

Gift Certificates

All Gift Certificates purchased on rosingdesign.dk are digital/electronic. After your completed purchase You will receive your Gift Certificate in a separate email once payment has been received and verified. This email contains a unique and personal voucher code. Please note this email will be sent to provided email address during checkout. Please ensure to check your order for any mistakes in the email address prior to completing the order. The email sent will include a printable version to give as a gift.

Make sure you keep the email safe or print a version to document the voucher code. The code is unique and personal.

Validity: Gift card will be valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

Right of withdrawals: Please refer to Right of Cancellation section in the Terms of Service.

Balance inquiries: If you are in need of an update on the balance please contact info@ragnar.dk and provide the name on the order or order number. Please do not provide the voucher code as this is personal.

Redemption: Gift certificates are redeemable only for purchases of goods or services rosingdesign.dk

Lost, Damaged or Stolen Gift Card; Gift Cards Used Without Authorization:

The value of any lost, damaged or stolen Gift Certificates, or any Gift Certificates used without authorization, will not be replaced or replenished. The Gift Certificates should be considered as cash.

 

Defects

When you buy a product on rosigndesign.dk you have a two-year right to file a complaint counting from the delivery date. 

This means that for up to two years after you have received the product, you may have the product repaired, exchanged or you may have a refund or a reduction of the purchase price if the product is defect and depending on the situation at hand. 

Damage to the product caused by accidents, use of the product in an unintentional manner, incorrect use or abuse or other tortious conduct is not covered by the right to complain. If you find that your order is defect, you must file a complaint by e-mail to info@ragnar.dk within a reasonable time.

Where the complaint is made within two months of the detection hereof such complaint will always be considered to have been made in due time. Your complaint shall be filed no later than 24 months after the delivery date. In your complaint, please state your order number and describe the defect in your product.

When we have received your complaint, we will send you a return label in order for you to return the product to us free of charge. When you return the product, please fill out and enclose the forwarded complaint form.

Always ensure to have the enclosed postal receipt stamped and signed at the post office when you hand in the package. This is your proof that the package has been returned to us and in such case you will not be liable in the event that the package is not received at Ragnar Ure og Juveler.

Please keep the postal receipt until you receive information from Ragnar Ure og Juveler that your returned package has been received and processed.

 

Complaints

If you want to make a complaint about an online purchase or our company, Ragnar Ure og Juveler, you must contact us by e-mail to info@ragnar.dk.

If we are not able to find a solution, you may file a complaint with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board, the House of Commitees (Nævnenes hus), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, using https://naevneneshus.dk/, HTTPS://MINSAG.FORBRUG.DK/FKVWEB/CHECKCOMPLAINTSTART.ASPX.

You may also use the EU Commission’s online complaint portal, which will, however, primarily be relevant, if you are a consumer residing outside Denmark. You may find the complaint portal here: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

 

Security

The Website has numerous security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control such as password and firewalls.

We cannot, however, guarantee that these measures are, or will remain, adequate. We do, however, take data security very seriously and will use all reasonable endeavours to protect the integrity of the information you provide.

 

Our Liability

We warrant to you that any product purchased from us through our Website is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied.

Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this Website to ensure that the items and terms are described accurately. There may, however, from time to time be technical inaccuracies and/or typographical errors.

There may be slight variations from time to time in style or colour reproduction or in text descriptions. As the actual colours you will see will depend on your monitor, we are unable to promise or guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will actually reflect the colour of the product delivered to you.

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any claims either direct or in terms of consequential loss relating to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the sections of this Website, whether this arises from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence or any other way.

We are not liable for any use of the products if you use them for other purposes than they are made for. The products are not suitable for children under three years. The products contain small parts.

We are not responsible for indirect losses.

Our liability is in any case strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.

This does not include or limit in any way our liability:

(a) For death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) For fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) For any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communication we send to you should be in writing.

When using our Website, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our Website.

For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communication that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.

This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Transfer of Rights And Obligations

The contract between you and us is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns. You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of your obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.

We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the contract.

 

Status

By placing an order through our Website, you warrant

(a) That you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and

(b) That you are at least 18 years old.

 

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by any act, event, omission, non-happening or accident outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) industrial action, civil commotion, war, riot, terrorist act, fire, explosion, storm, flood, any natural disaster, impossibility of use of appropriate modes of transport or technological or communication problems (Force Majeure Event).

Our performance under any contract is to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance during that period.

We will use our reasonable endeavors to bring the Force Majeure Event to an end or to find a solution by which our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

 

Waiver

If we fail, at any time during the term of a contract, to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under the contract or any of these terms and conditions, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under the contract, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations.

A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No waiver by us of any of these terms and conditions shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to you in writing.

 

Severability

If any of these terms and conditions or any provisions of a contract are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing.

We each acknowledge that, in entering into a contract, neither of us has relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or implied from anything said or written in negotiations between us prior to such contract except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

Neither of us shall have any remedy in respect of any untrue statement made by the other, whether orally or in writing, prior to the date of any contract (unless such untrue statement was made fraudulently) and the other party’s only remedy shall be for breach of contract as provided in these terms and conditions.

 

Law and Jurisdiction

All sale contracts for purchase of products through our Site are concluded in Copenhagen, Denmark. Such contracts and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by Danish law.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect personal information about our customers, such as:

  • Your contact information such as name, postal address, email address, and telephone number, if you choose to give us this
  • Payment information such as your payment card number, delivery address, and billing address
  • Client inquiries, comments, and repair history, including photographs of jewellery that you may provide us with
  • Any of the above information gathered is only used to provide client support (including repairs, alterations, cleaning and other services

We do not disclose nor sell your personal information to third parties.

We maintain administrative safeguards designed to protect the personal information you provide as described in GDPR laws.

GDPR laws determine the guidelines for ROSING’s collection of your personal information, such as your name, email address, your telephone number and the like, as well as your navigation on our website. Your email address will only be used to send you information from Rosing. We do not sell, nor pass along your personal information and navigation on our website to third-parties.

Rosing has implemented security measures to ensure that our internal procedures meet security standards. We do our best to protect the integrity of your personal information. You have the right to object to the gathering of your personal information. Please contact us if you want them corrected or erased. This website may contain links to other websites or integrated websites. Rosing cannot be held accountable for their content, nor their codes of conduct in connection with the gathering of personal information.
